The joys of learning something new… A challenge!!

I believe that I learn something new every day and sometimes these things might be big, like building up a computer, or small like the fact that the lady who sits next to me at work is actually a brunette or that there is a creature somewhere in the world that looks like a cross between a fish and a crocodile (maybe someday I’ll even learn it’s name).

I have taken various weekend courses in different things ranging from advanced driving to anti-hijacking to decoupage and scrapbooking, I have tried my hand at aromatherapy and calligraphy and have even tried painting and drawing. Yet when I look around me every day I see more things that I still need to learn and I wonder just how many people learn important things, and insignificant little bits of trivia, every day without even realising that they are doing it.

Feed My Brain

Come on – here’s a challenge to those reading this – give me two important things you have learnt in the past year, name a course you’ve done that was fun and tell me five insignificant pieces of trivia you’ve discovered this week which might peak my interest.

“And every hour of every day I’m learning more
The more I learn, the less I know about before
The less I know, the more I want to look around
Digging deep for clues on higher ground…”

Just for a laugh say: Here kitty kitty…

Hello Kitty...

Thank you bloggers for theTick-Tock..

Today I have gone through so many different emotions and moods – most of them were caused due to the amount of time I spent reading through other peoples blogs- the rest were caused by the medication which the doctor has put me on for the problem I have in my heart cavity.

Firstly,  the medicine I am taking has had me itching, nauseous, shaky and confused  –  none of which I’d consider a contributing factor to recovery from heart problems.

The blogs that I have read today on the other hand, have been very amusing – some are rather funny, others informative and a few are exactly what I need to get me all steamed up and pro/anti something or other.

The people who wrote the blogs that I have laughed, smiled, cried, cheered, baked, cursed and stretched my way through today are the ones to which I wish to say thank you.

Thank – you bloggers on wordpress.com for the emotional workout you have given me today. You have put the tick tock back in my heart.

Nasty Lasty…

Pumba from the Lion King was standing by the side of the road, crying his eyes out as his friend Timone had just been run over …..

The cops arrive and take one look at the bloody mess and ask “What the f*ck happened here ??”

Tearfully Pumba looked up and said ……………..”a coon in a Tata

Message from my mind.

I got a fortune cookie today which read:

“HELP!!! I am being held hostage in a bakery in China.”

I have no doubts that it is true and that this is a message from my brain!

I am a little concerned as to why it was in China for one thing —

and for another; why a bakery?

I’ll have it back tomorrow!!

(ps.Tuesday I was scatterbrain, Wednesday I was sick… now this!)

UH….

Gee wizz – look at the time it’s 15H55 and I have just realised that I haven’t even THOUGHT of doing anything today.

In all honesty, I cannot remember doing much all day AT ALL, except 2 quotes and downloading the book I won to my iPhone.

WOW I am a plutz today. My brain wants to leave for home – and it’s in a fire ball hurry.

I hope it doesn’t get too much of a headstart – I might need it tomorrow.
